The Story

Studio Hiraya is an interior design studio rooted in intention, balance, and thoughtful living, built on the belief that a home should be a true expression of how we live and what we value.

“Hiraya” is a Tagalog word that speaks to the fruit of one’s hopes, dreams, and aspirations. It is the spirit behind every space we create calm, functional, and deeply considered, with a focus on balance, materiality, and feeling.

That belief now extends into a deeply personal direction, rooted in the conviction that every mind deserves a space that works with it, not against it. Studio Hiraya is currently expanding its practice to include a focused offering for neurodivergent individuals and families, bringing together interior design expertise and sensory knowledge to create spaces that are both beautiful and truly livable.

Mirabelle Tolentino

Founder & Principal Interior Designer

Mirabelle brings a background in fashion and product design into every space she touches, with a trained eye for detail, proportion, and the quiet way materials shape how a room feels. She founded Studio Hiraya on the belief that a home should be a true reflection of how you live and what you value, furthering her design training at The Interior Design Institute along the way. She is currently pursuing the Neuro Interior Design Certification™, with a focused practice in designing spaces for neurodivergent individuals and families.

Melody Davis, COTA/L

Neuro Design Advisor & Occupational Therapy Consultant

Melody is Mirabelle’s sister and a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant specializing in sensory strategies, and she brings something rare to this work: she is autistic herself. Her lived experience, combined with her clinical expertise, gives Studio Hiraya’s neurodesign projects a depth and authenticity that simply can’t be taught. Melody ensures that every sensory-informed design decision is grounded in both science and real, everyday human experience.
